Teen Classes, Adult Classes, Homeschool Program and Speciality Classes
Here at Airborne, we offer a wide variety of programming for all ages and abilities. If you have a suggestion of a class you would like to see, please contact us! We also are open to group bookings or sport cross-training.
Teen Classes
Airborne's most popular program! This class is geared towards our older athletes, aged 12-16 years. All abilities and levels are welcome to attend. Teens will master their way through Airborne's Skill Progressions on all the trampoline events. Included in this structured program is a strength and flexibility rotation. Athletes will leave each class feeling accomplished, tired and sore!
Homeschool Classes
Working through Airborne’s Skill Progression, athletes will learn the fundamentals and basics of the Trampoline sport. They will get the opportunity to jump and tumble, as well as work on their strength and flexibility. Coaches will lead these athletes through basic jumps, and back and front drops, with a focus on proper and safe technique. We have increased the length of this daytime program to be able to fit in more skill development, strength and flexibility training. Classes are an hour and fifteen minutes long. Athletes will leave this class tired! We do need a minimum of 6 athletes to run a homeschool program. If our times do not work for your group please contact us to schedule a group time.
Fit N' Flip Classes
A specialty fitness program designed to improve strength, flexibility and coordination, while learning cool Trampoline & Tumbling skills. Designed by our very own Coach Kennedy, classes will alternate between fitness only and skill based learning. Fitness weeks will include strength, flexibility and cardiovascular training. During skill based weeks, participants will work with our certified instructors to learn the basics of T&T, along with some cool flippy moves. This is a pilot project, therefore class cost is reduced. All participants will be charged the annual AGF insurance fee. No experience necessary, make sure to wear appropriate workout clothes and bring a water bottle!

This Sportsnastics class is an opportunity to combine aspects of other sports, to the developmental approach of gymnastics, to the fun Airborne environment. Skills Workshop - Cartwheel Crazy/Rockin' Roundoffs Ages 3-6 Years
Does your athlete need a little bit more extra help with their cartwheels? Sign them up for our Cartwheel Crazy Class! Athletes will spend these three classes working on drills specifically designed for achieving that cartwheel. Using different tumbling areas, coaches will set up rotations and stations for working on the start position, the kick off, proper hand placement, weight transfer, and the hardest part, that landing. The cartwheel is one of the trickiest tumbling moves to learn for an athlete, this workshop will provide more understanding and opportunity for skill development. Great for athletes in our Little Jumpers, Super Jumpers and High Flyers. For ages 3 and Up!
Trampoline Drills and Skills Class
This class is designed for those athletes who just LOVE to bounce! Following Alberta Gymnastics Federation's CanJump Program, athletes will bounce through skills and drills on the trampoline and double mini trampoline apparatuses. For Levels 5+, athletes will progress through skills such as cradles, cruises, cat twists, front 3/4s, ballots and front and back inversions. If your athlete has not attended an Airborne or AGF associated gymnastics club trampoline program, we recommend registering for the beginner program first. We often hear “but my child can flip on their own trampoline at home.” T&T can be a dangerous sport, and at Airborne, safety is our number one priority! We want athletes to progress onto those tricky flipping skills but first we need to make sure their basics and fundamentals are almost second nature. These skills such as back and stomach drops, forwards and backwards rolls become athletes “bail” skills. Our trampolines are standard competitive style, similar to those used at the Olympics. Athletes will jump higher and will rotate faster, doing those basics become a necessity when learning flipping on our trampolines. Our coaches also focus on doing skills with proper form and technique. All of our athletes are not only taught skills but how to do these skills well. If you’re athlete already has experience with T&T, they will move along to their appropriate skill level when our coaches feel they are ready.
Tumbling Skills & Drills Beginner and Advanced programs Ages 6-14 Years
Does your dancer, cheerleader or gymnast need a little extra tumbling practice? Within this tumbling program, athletes will practice tumbling variations specifically for their dance or cheer routines. Working with one of our NCCP, AGF and GCG coaches, beginner athletes will work on skills such as bridges, fall to bridges, handstand rolls, cartwheels, round offs and drills for front and back walk overs. More advanced athletes will move along to back handsprings, connections, back tucks, twisting and more.
